Week 36 of our lockdown linky and we are getting used to being out of lockdown now!
This linky was born from an idea by Jenni and Sarah, I was super happy to come on board and take you along on the journey too. It has been nice sharing my weekly thoughts and feelings with you all.

So how has the past week been for me?
1) How are you feeling/coping?
I’m doing a lot better than last week. I spent a lot of the week just taking some time out for myself.
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
Working, reading, virtual murder mysteries. We also had Jack’s birthday on Friday which was a lot of fun despite current restrictions.
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
I think there will be stricter restrictions once Christmas is over but I am hopeful for the vaccine.
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come what would it be?
That you need to live for the moment. Stop putting off plans. Losing two people very close to me, well before their time, has reinforced this belief.
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
I can’t think of anything yet again!
6) What is a unique (or not) technique you have used to get you through this time?
Well….we did another virtual murder mystery again this week! We will also be signing up for the Boxing Day one – this is the company we do them with and we really enjoy them!
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
That I love a bit of a cheesy pop…so much so that my 2020 on Spotify is packed full of cheesy pop songs and bands!!
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
Friends, family, the kids, my Mum, spending time with Steve.

This is tough times, and we are all trying to keep afloat, I think keeping motivated and support from family and friends is of paramount importance.
I am glad you got to have some fun for Jack’s birthday so strange having one under all the restrictions isn’t it?

I agree I think come the new year we shall be back in lockdown as the cases have not dropped as much as they thought they would.

It’s been a tough old week here, I just want my children home for Christmas and time to relax now
