Better Late Than Never by Emma Mahony – 4/5 (Copy sent for review)

The 20% Rule: How To Ensure Your Small Business Is Safe, Sustainable & Profitable by Catherine Gladwyn – 5/5
As a VA myself, I was really interested in this book by Catherine and it really reinforced to me that I should know my worth. She offers some fantastic insight to rates, income and so much more. Definitely a must read for anyone thinking about starting a small business. You can buy the book here {affiliate link}.
One To Watch by Kate Stayman-London – 3/5 (ARC sent for review)
Due for release in January 2021, the premise of this book really intrigued me as a blogger myself. I quite enjoyed this but couldn’t give it more than three stars. Here is the review I added to Netgalley for the book:
I had really high hopes for this book and really enjoyed many of the characters however I found it left me a little flat. It was fairly obvious who Bea was meant to be with from the outset and who she was going to end up with so I felt the ending fell a little short.
Some of the characters were really lovely – I really liked Sam and Wyatt – and others were utterly horrific. I think this was a good commentary on plus size people in the media/public eye but I would have loved to see something a little more from it unfortunately.

Sherlock Holmes & The Ripper of Whitechapel by M.K Wiseman – 5/5 (Copy sent for review)
Quite a few of you caught my recent review and you might have guessed by the star rating that I absolutely loved it! Mixing two things I like to read about, Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper, this was a fascinating read. You can buy the book here {affiliate link}.
Spider Hunting by K.J McGillick – 4/5 (Copy sent for review)
Finally we have Spider Hunting which I also recently reviewed. This was a fast paced and thrilling legal read and I really enjoyed getting to know the character of Asia and the relationships she had with certain characters. It has been another review heavy round-up again and the next one will be too as I’ve got quite a few review copies to get through…someone take my Netgalley account away from me!!

Quite an eclectic mix there! I’m currently reading Beartown by Fredrick Backman and really enjoying it
I love discovering new books, I like Goodreads website for inspiration
All of these books sound really great. I would love to read One to Watch. I have been looking out for some new books to read.
I loved reading books, but when my daughter was born, I just didn’t have the time, now I’m back working full time and spending 3 hours a day driving to work/school run is hard. I’ve downloaded a couple to read on holiday, but then it got cancelled. It may have to be my New Years resolution!
