Learning A New Language During Lockdown

I have one big regret from my school days and that is not continuing on with a language. I did French up until Year 9 and was in the top set for it – we even got to do a exam that got us halfway to a GCSE in the language – but I gave it up when it came to choosing my actual GCSE options and it is something I have regretted ever since.

I am currently doing about 10-15 minutes a day on each language.

You have the option of completing daily tasks, doing some reading, some learning or even some tests. I found that I liked the single words section where I could learn a single word – the translation, the pronounciation and really get to grips with it before moving onto the next.

I’ve only been learning for a couple of weeks through the site now but my vocabulary in each language is definitely already getting better. I can’t wait to check back in with you in a couple of months time and let you know how I am getting on then!
