WatAdventure Personalised Book | Review

We were sent this book for the purpose of review.

Jack loves books and especially personalised books. When given the chance to review a personalised book from the WatAdventure range so he could be a WatAdventurer himself, I knew he’d enjoy it. He has recently been learning about saving the planet so From The Sewer To The Stars seemed a perfect fit.

It has 66 pages of adventure, learning and activities and is designed to inspire children to become planet savers. By personalising it, you can make your child the hero of the book, helping to save the planet one step at a time. On their first mission as Blue Fox, they will fight corruption, fake news, and reckless evil intent on destroying the Earth. From the sewers to the stars – the WatAdventurers will not be defeated. Rise up and save Earth!

From the Sewer to the Stars and other titles are available here for a very affordable price. This book itself is suitable for children aged six to twelve years old. There are two adventure stories and the book features an avatar version of your child – when personalising it with their name, you also personalise the avatar to look like them.

As well as two stories, there are plenty of activities and challenges for your child to participate in. These include a mindfulness diary and STEM activities too. Not only that but the book comes with free digital membership for children to become a WatAdventurer on WatAdventure Kids.

So what did Jack think?

He has really been enjoying the book, participating in the different activities and reading the comic strips. He has become really passionate about doing his part to help save the world since learning about it at school and he is doing so much and trying his hardest such as walking everywhere we can and recycling all that we can.

He’s super keen to get building his own recycling centre in his bedroom – he keeps eyeing up all the different recycling to see what he can utilise for his own recycling centre! He loves being crafty and creative so this is a perfect activity for him!

I am very impressed with this book. Not only does it engage with children on a personal level, thanks to the personalisation, but it also encourages them to do more to save the planet in a fun way. It tackles a serious subject and makes it easily accessible to young children. Jack really enjoyed the book and I am definitely considering checking out more books from the range.
