Now You Are Going Into Year Three…

It seems just like yesterday that you were starting Year Two and now you are starting Year Three. The infants school and junior school may be amalgamated into one school now but you are moving to a whole new building with different things going on.

We now have to pay for your school lunches so you’ve decided to see what they’re like and see whether you want packed lunch instead. You finally waved goodbye to your book bag, giving it to a younger friend – and you’re super excited to be able to use a rucksack for school and take in a snack for break time – today you chose cheese (why am I not surprised?).

I don’t think you’ve quite realised just how different Junior school is to Infants school so it is going to be interesting picking you up later and seeing how you have got on.

You had such a brilliant year last year with a brilliant school report and lots of fantastic clubs. I can’t wait to see what Year Three brings you. Here’s to a fantastic first day.

Aaahhhh bet he’s excited about seeing his friends again after the holidays. I remember this with my older two. Packed lunch all the way for us I think when my son starts my girls hated the school dinners when they tried them.

  2. He’s so grown up!! Bless his little heart. It’s only when you read/write posts like this that you realize just how quickly time goes by x

  3. Awww how cute! This must be such an exciting time for him and for you too I imagine.

  4. Jack looks so cute. Isn’t it quick how they grow up, it only seems like yesterday my son was in primary school and now hes 22. I hope he had a good day!

  5. Awww they grow up so fast don’t they? My best friends eldest just went away to college and I’m stunned because it only seem like just a couple of years since she was in year 2!

  6. Aw I hope he had a fab first day in year 3. It always seems such a leap from infants to juniors.

  7. It really is a big change but I hope Jack loves it and decides on his lunches for you. Certainly growing up now
