We were sent some Haliborange multi vitamins for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
I’ve mentioned before that it can be a real struggle to get Jack to eat healthily and I do sometimes worry about just how much goodness and vitamins he is getting. When offered the chance to review some Haliborange multivitamins and multivitamins with Omega 3, I said yes because I least I knew I had some control over what his vitamin intake was.
Haliborange’s vitamins have Mr Men and Little Miss designs. They are for ages 3-7 so perfect for Jack’s age group. The Multivitamins were strawberry flavour softies and there were 30 in the jar. In the Omega-3 & Multivitamins, they were 30 orange flavoured softies.
So why may children need multivitamins? The UK Department of Health recommends all children from 6 months to 5 years take supplements in the form of Vitamins A, C & D.
The Haliborange Multivitamin Softies help provide a balanced multivitamin for everyday support. They contain vitamin A that helps support normal vision, Vitamin C that helps support the immune system, Vitamin D that is essential for the normal growth and development of bones in children and Vitamin B12 that contributes to normal red blood cell formation. It is recommended that children over the age of 3 take 1-2 multivitamins daily. Food supplements are intended to supplement the diet and should not be regarded as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The Haliborange Omega-3 Softies are not only tasty but are a balanced multivitamin with Omega-3. They are orange in flavour and contains flaxseed oil which is a source of essential Omega-3 (ALA) fatty acids, Vitamin A which helps support normal vision, Vitamin C helps support the immune system and Vitamin B5 which contributes to normal mental performance.
Jack has been taking one of each daily and whilst I cannot obviously see what goodness it is doing inside, it has really given me peace of mind that he is getting his daily dose of vitamins that he may not otherwise get. We’re almost finished so I will definitely have to grab him some more – you can buy them from Boots or Amazon online and they are also available in most supermarkets and pharmacies.
I would definitely recommend the Haliborange range – if only for peace of mind. Jack happily takes his multivitamins and I don’t have to worry about him.
Do you give your child multivitamins?
