Adding Inches To My Favourite Clothes

Item sent for purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Since getting pregnant I have pretty much lived in leggings. Jeans and trousers got completely bypassed for the comfort that is a good pair of leggings. However leggings tend to wear out quite easily and I’ve found myself going through pairs and pairs of them, wishing I could still get away with wearing my normal clothes without paying the extortionate prices for maternity clothes that some brands charge.

This is where the Love Your Bump BellyBelt from those fab people at Cheeky Rascals comes in. Priced at just £14.99, it adds inches to mum-to-be’s favourite jeans, trousers and skirts. With the ingenious, stretchy and adjustable BellyBelt material, you can make your everyday clothes maternity friendly.

I’ve been getting fed up with wearing leggings recently though and have been desperate to get back into my favourite jeans. The only problem? They won’t do up over this mahoosive bump. But fear not, with this BellyBelt I’ve managed to get back into my favourite jeans once again!

As you can see, I cannot button or zip up my jeans (*sob*) but the handy little belt simply loops through the material (you have three colours: black, blue and white so you should be able to find the material to suit) and then attaches to the button – each side of the belt has one button hole and one button so you can attach them to the button and button hole on the jeans. As you can see, the black of the material just looks like the jeans so if anyone was looking super closely at that area (obviously very doubtful) they wouldn’t notice much of a difference.

As you can see, the material simply blends in with your clothing, enabling you to wear your clothes once again – those extra added inches definitely make a difference. This will definitely be in constant use until baby arrives (especially for Christmas parties – I don’t want to be wearing leggings!) and once I’ve had baby girl, I’ll be sure to pass this along to an expectant mum so she can get some more wear out of her non maternity clothes.

Have you ever tried anything like this?
