This is the oldest part of the city, and due to its hilltop location, it offers some fantastic views!
MAJORCA, SPAIN
Next on the list is the Spanish island of Majorca. This is the perfect destination for a more relaxed holiday maker. Visit the capital, Palma, for fantastic shopping and traditional tapas. You’ll also find Majorca’s most impressive architectural building here. La Seu is a gothic cathedral that is well worth a visit during your time. There’s plenty of historical sites to visit on this island. Castle de Bellver is just to the north west of Palma and is a gothic masterpiece, dating back to the 14th century. It’s not just historical wonders Majorca has to offer, either. A trip to the mountain range, Serra de Tramuntana, will give you a fantastic day out. You’ll see some views you won’t forget. For those after a destination with a great nightlife, Magaluf is the destination for you. This Majorcan location is renowned for its party culture and its active nightlife. This is a great place for a holiday with your friends!
KOS, GREECE
The Greek island of Kos is another great Mediterranean location. Famous for its beaches, this is another must visit sun-seeking location. One beach you won’t want to miss out on during your stay is Agios Stefanos You won’t just get the sunshine here. Agios Stefanos beach is just to the west of an ancient basilica ruin. The beach is just in front of club med. All beaches in Greece are required to be open to everyone by law, so don’t hesitate to head to this dream location! During your stay, it’s also worth taking a visit to sites like Paleo Pili and Asklepion. Kos also has something for the kids. A visit to Aquatica water park is sure to be a hit with all the family!
