Living in a village surrounded by woods, farms and plenty of greenery means I often see different types of wildlife in my garden or near to my house. I’ve been followed home from the pub by a fox, am constantly seeing hedgehogs in my garden and not to forget all the different types of birds that appear.
Our village is also lucky enough to have some red kites flying around and its always a pleasure to see them soaring about in the sky. But why am I telling you all this?
Well Rattan Direct currently have a fabulous wildlife competition on (which you can enter here) and I think its a great competition! All you need to do is send a snapshot of some wildlife in your garden (whether it be foxes, birds, squirrels, rabbits etc) to Rattan Direct. When the competition closes on the 30th of October 2016 they will select the best pictures that they have received and then they will produce a poll and allow the public to choose which picture they think is best and should win the competition! The poll will be run on their blog and Facebook page. Once a winner has been picked, they will announce on their website and social media.
