I’ve talked extensively before about the items I consider my blogging essentials and technology always features quite heavily. As you can imagine though, I’ve had to replace or buy items a few times when required to keep myself blogging to the standard I want to. In recent months, a few things of mine have packed up or been claimed by other members of the household so I’ve compiled a tech wishlist of the current things I want tech wise for my blog.
I love my smartphone but I have had it for quite a while now since being sent it for review and the screen, although usable, is a little smashed. I’m still debating whether to buy a new phone or replace the screen as this is by far the best phone I have ever had. At the moment though, I am relying on it for photographs for the blog and my Instagram. Our old camera finally gave up the ghost after many years and whilst I have been thinking about picking up a new one, I just haven’t got around to it yet. I have been looking at the Panasonic Super Zoom cameras recently as our old camera was a Panasonic Lumix and we were very impressed with it and had no problems with it until it stopped working due its age.
I’m also looking for a decent trail camera for when we are out and about and doing more active things than just visiting events etc. These are far more resilient and would definitely be required for some of our more active days out.
I’ve just treated myself to a new network adapter as I needed one desperately – my old one had a faulty connection – but I am also thinking about picking up an external hard drive. We have one in the house at the moment but Steve keeps most of his stuff on there and whilst I do back up my stuff onto there, I really want one for myself.
I’ve even been considering picking up a new tablet of some description as Jack and Steve seem to have claimed my iPad Mini. Whilst I don’t really like to blog on a tablet, they are handy for answering emails and checking in to social media.
