I feel so unglamorous (if that is even a word) when looking at the other #mystylemydress posts that have appeared today. But the truth is those ladies are all stunning with fantastic figures and I am a tired working from home mum of one who has little time or energy to do anything half the time and who wants to shift a few pounds. I was asked to style this Vero Moda swing dress from House of Fraser how I saw fit.
Now I don’t get out with the girls or even Steve that often – Steve’s shifts and other commitments put paid to that but I am a social team member at my local Slimming World. I thought the best way to style it up would be to wear it as an everyday item – just adding a little bit of bling to it with a beautiful item of jewellery.
This dress (much like most dresses from House of Fraser) is so versatile as it can be styled in so many ways, up or down, and it is super affordable too at £20. It is perfect for everyday wear much like I wear it or adding some sparkles and a pop of colour to make the perfect evening look.
For a simple everyday look, I pair the dress with some plain black leggings, some boots and a necklace to add a little something to the outfit. As this dress is so versatile, I am planning on wearing it to the Herts Bloggers meal, what do you think?
What would you wear this with?
