You know when you meet someone for the very first time and you get on like a house on fire? Well, that happened to me this past weekend as I attended a party for the 1st birthday party of THE Book Club (it is a secret group on Facebook, drop me an email if you would like to be added). Whilst accompanying my smoker friend outside so she wasn’t on her own, we encountered a lady who was much like us in every way, same sense of humour and everything.
This lady in question then spent the rest of the evening with our little group, laughing and joking – that lady is Georgie Logan. I am currently reading her book, The Hat, and I am loving it so far! Getting yourself and your book noticed can be a tough climate and I am so glad that I was able to meet Georgie on Saturday via a fabulous virtual book club and get to know her a little better.

Had a great evening meeting members of the book club. Then having a throughly good laugh and great conversation when Laura and yourself invited me to join you company. As a reader as well as a author, I would love to read about other authors and their novels. So glad you’re enjoying The Hat….
