Where all our money goes….
Everything in this world has its price, it seems. We are always looking for that new money saving or money making idea to boost our finances just a little. But what about when your bank account is looking less than a little healthy?
It is no secret that myself and Steve have had some financial problems recently – with Steve job hunting up until recently and me only working part time, it is a struggle just to pay the bills right now – let alone food and travel. We’ve tried numerous things in the past but one we hadn’t tried until recently was one of these cash for gold websites. Now I’ve always been a silver jewellery kind of girl so I didn’t have much to contribute, just a few trinkets, but luckily Steve had a few gold items stored away that he just didn’t use.
I always thought that selling your unwanted gold would be a complicated business but it is actually a relatively easy affair. Just input the weight and carat of your gold item and watch the quotes roll in. Just a few clicks will get you a quote then all that remains is to bag it up, send it and wait for the money to appear in your bank account. Easy pennies for just a few minutes work and it also helps to declutter your house of unwanted items too! Money making and clearing out the house? I like it.
I have to admit, I have been rifling through the cupboards and boxes to see if there are any gold pieces lurking around – every little helps – right?
