Toddler Winter Wishlist

We have been very lucky since Jack was born. A lot of our friends gave birth not long before and their children were growing out of the clothes at just the right time to pass them down to Jack. That isn’t to say we didn’t buy him any clothes, far from it – we probably spent far too much! – however it was always very handy when we had to tighten our belts, so to speak.

Steve’s best friend has two little boys, the youngest who is roughly a year older than Jack, so a few months ago we found ourselves with a bag of clothes suited to 18-24 months, the age frame Jack fits now. There isn’t too much there though and us being us, we haven’t thought to stock up on some winter clothes for him this year. We are very lucky that both sets of grandparents do seem to buy Jack a new item of clothing every time they go into town or to the supermarket – but I have already bookmarked some of Steve’s wages next month on kitting out Jack with some gorgeous new winter wear.

I have been taking a look at the childrens winter clothing and ski wear over on Alex and Alexa and I am really impressed by what they have to offer – plenty of places who sell toddler clothing don’t always have a vast choice of stock for particular age groups but I had more than enough to choose from. Jumpers are something every little boy needs and I couldn’t resist the planet one – how cute? I’d like something like that myself! For trousers, I picked some jeans and joggers as sometimes little boys just want to be comfy!

Whilst taking a look at these, I stumbled across their coats which to me are absolutely gorgeous!

I like that these are simple and all about the comfort – I know that I will definitely be picking up the blue one (far right)!

Finally, it wouldn’t be winter clothing if I didn’t pick out a couple of special occasion themed items, would it?

All children need a good Christmas jumper in their collection and who’s to say that they don’t need a Halloween one too? I can just imagine Jack running around on October 31st screaming ‘WOOOOO!’ – wouldn’t this jumper be ideal? For the Christmas jumper, it had to be reindeer – whilst this isn’t a jumper Jack could wear everyday, it would be worth it just for the cute Christmas pictures!
