#SendTheLove with StressFreePrint

StressFreePrint recently asked me if I could #SendTheLove, writing a letter to someone I love, telling them how much they mean to me. It didn’t take much thinking as to who I wanted to write to – and no, it isn’t Steve! Letters seem to be a lost art form and I can’t tell you how much I used to love receiving letters in the post when I was younger – it was just so exciting!

If you were to write a letter, who would you write it to? My letter today is written especially for Jack.

Dear Jack,
It seems just like yesterday that you came into our lives, all tiny and pink, wailing your little heart out. I fell in love with you then and everything you’ve done since then has made me love you all the more. You’re now three and turning into a fiercely independent cheeky little chappy. You know what you want to do and when you want to do it and won’t let anyone tell you otherwise. But you are so sweet sometimes too.

You’ve recently learned the song You Are My Sunshine and my heart melts when I hear you walking around the house singing it to yourself, I can’t imagine life without you and I don’t want to. You’ve made my life all the better for being in it and I can’t wait to see what else you have to give as you grow up!

I love you, all the world!
Lots of love,
Mummy

  1. What a lovely post – we rarely write and post letters to each other these days, and it is such a shame! I still look forward to the post arriving each day and I can only assume that goes back to my days as a pen friend and some last remnant of hope there will be something nice in the post today (it's usually just bills!!) Just popping over from #WeekendBlogHop

  2. Beautiful idea. I tell my lad everyday that i love him and am proud but I think I will write him a letter
