I’m sure you have all heard of the show Extreme Couponing and believe me, I am nowhere near as mad about coupons as the people on that show. However, as a mum I am always looking for the best deals on everything and am signed up to all the major loyalty cards.
This means I regularly get mail with my points balance and coupons inside. I struggle to keep my purse clean and tidy at the best of the times, so add a load of tiny pieces of paper and it is absolute chaos! I decided to come up with a neat way of storing them – pretty and practical and can easily be slipped into a handbag pocket.
What you need:
*Your coupons
*Scissors
*A pretty little organza bag (this originally came with a prize, I wear the jewellery regularly so I have repurposed the bag for this)
The next steps are pretty simple:
Cut the coupons into handy little sizes; you may have to lightly fold a few, depending on the size of your bag. Then place them in the bag.
Voilà. Neat and tidy, pretty and practical. This can be tucked away in a little pocket in your handbag and you don’t have to clutter up your purse with little scraps of paper.

Coupons are huge in the USA – you get them in the mail, you get them at the supermarket and at the supermarket we shop at [Krogers] you get "virtual" coupons which you add onto your store card and they come off at the till. It's great. You can get coupons for everything from getting your hair cut, to 40% off at certain shops to huge discounts at restaurants. They really do help!

I wish we could use coupons to get stuff for free like they do in the USA. They don't seem to have come up with the "one per transaction" rule they have here in the UK! x

That is quite a good idea actually. Now, I just have to stop being lazy and actually cut the coupons out lol. I usually just dump my letters in my rucksack, tear off the bit I need then leave the letter in my rucksack to build up with all the other letters that I've dumped in there XD Haha OMG I'm terrible.
No I joke, it's usually just because otherwise I would lose the coupon in amongst the stack of receipts in my purse :)) I'm making this even worse for myself, maybe I should just shuttup and try this lol xD

My husband is the grocery shopper…he loves coupons! He either cuts them and leaves piles in various places…kitchen table, coffee table…wherever! Then, he often buys a bunch of things we don't need…just because he had a coupon! I am a new GFC follower!
