I don’t claim to be the biggest owner of designer goods, nor do I covet designer items as much as other people do. I personally own just a select few designer items such as my Gucci glasses (which need to get new lenses) or some Armani jewellery. However I, like most people, do have a select few things on my wishlist right now – some which have been there for years – and if I had the money, I would certainly treat myself to them as well!
I have almost always coveted a skull scarf by Alexander McQueen, in fact one of my earliest posts on this blog was talking about an affordable almost dupe that I found that satiated my want for the product a little. I do, however, still really want one five years on and would almost certainly pick one up should I have the spare money to do so.
Like most women, I have to admit I have always wanted a designer handbag and my choices have changed over the years. I wanted a Mulberry Bayswater for what seemed like forever, then a Chloe Paddington bag and now I am lusting after a Hermes Black Leather Togo Birkin. Once a handbag addict, always a handbag addict – even if I don’t always have the available funds. I recently picked up a bag in a high street store that is pretty similar but to own the real thing that would be amazing.
One thing I always think of when thinking of designer items apart from handbags is watches and I have found a great range of second hand watches on the Xupes website which is based close to me in Hertfordshire. I know my friend recently visited them and came away with a fabulous designer item and I can’t stop looking at the ladies watches right now. I haven’t worn a watch for quite a while now as I just can’t find one that is practical but looks good too. Typing away at a keyboard all day means I need something that won’t irritate me and I must admit I do have my eye on a couple of the Cartier timepieces…a girl can dream, right?
What would be on your designer wishlist? Have you got any items that you have wanted for many years, like me?
