My New Years Resolution was to get rid of this mum tum I have developed since giving birth to Jack. However, living without a fridge in our new place for a couple of weeks isn’t exactly helpful to the whole healthy eating plan, so I have shamefully been binging on takeaways and rubbish ready meals which, as you can imagine, isn’t doing wonders for the whole dieting thing.
Thus, I decided that I would start again on the 1st of February – that would mean getting my birthday out of the way and hopefully have received my much sought after Wii Fit for my birthday. The boy came up trumps and tomorrow I shall start eating much more healthily and doing a workout on the Wii every day. I will also be going for a number of walks, and am willing to try out anything else to lose this mum tum and feel healthier both inside and out.
What would you suggest? I’m planning on getting Zumba for the Wii, but are there any exercises (for indoors or outdoors) that you find generates results and makes you feel healthier in yourself?
Let me know in the comments.
(If you wanted to know, Steve has made a gorgeous (and healthy!) chicken and vegetable dish for dinner tonight – look out for a picture in my Week In Pictures post at the end of the week! I’m lucky to have a wonderful cook for a boyfriend, really!)
I love this dress. It costs £13.99 from the FunkyDivaa website and with my exclusive discount code of BEX15, even less! Sorry about the mess in the picture above, the full length mirror is in Jack’s room which we are still sorting out but I was in a rush to take a picture of my outfit!
More apologies must be reserved for my slightly creepy face in my Face Of The Day…no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t take a good shot!

I’m looking for a primer for my eyes as the fallout of the pigment without primer was awful – I mean, it barely looks like I’m wearing any but I promise you I am (pictures & reviews coming up in the next couple of days). What primers do you use and what one would you suggest?
22 today – totally feeling the sentiment above! I’m going out for a meal with Steve, Jack, my parents and a couple of friends for lunch today, then I’m going to chill out at home before watching the Royal Rumble tonight.
Being a mummy is far from easy. The late nights, the early mornings, the growth spurts and constant feeding, the screams, the cries, the really bad nappies.
But it is so worth it. For the smiles, the giggles, the laughs, the opportunity to make so many memories with this gorgeous little bundle that you can call your own.
I never realised just how tough motherhood was going to be, and I definitely have a profound respect for women like Emma Louise who are bringing up their beautiful children single handedly.
But I wouldn’t change it for the world and I’m enjoying every second – I don’t know how I’m going to cope when I finish my maternity leave and have to go back to work. If I could possibly afford to be a stay at home mum, I’d love to, I just don’t think it’ll be possible.
I would never have thought I’d have had a baby by the time I was 22, but things happen for a reason and I’m so glad it has.
I’m expecting many more parcels through the post – an order for baby stuff from Boots, a few things from various companies for the birthday giveaway goodie bag (enter here if you haven’t already), a bookcase, two bedside tables, a Lush order, FunkyDivaa and Everything5Pounds goodies! Would you like to see a post on some of these when they arrive?
Have you received anything nice in the post recently?
