We were sent two plushes from the Posh Paws Snuggletime Winnie The Pooh plush range to review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Soft toys, or plushes, are seemingly a right of passage when you are a child. I know I still I have a few favourites at my parents house and Steve still owns the teddy he has had from birth. Jack has a cuddly toy dog that he adores that he has had since he was a few weeks old.
We were recently sent some of the Posh Paws Snuggletime Winnie The Pooh plush range for Olivia. We were sent the 12 inch Winnie The Pooh (£14.99) and the 12 inch Eeyore.(£12.99). These are available from Argos and there is also a Tigger in the range. There are also a few sizes – small, medium and large.
What can I say about these beautiful plush toys? They are super soft and cuddly and perfect for any child – even from birth. There’s no possibility of loose threads or small bits coming off. Olivia has recently learned how to cuddle – she lays her head down on your shoulder and says ‘ahhhh’ and I’ve recently noticed her doing the same with these Winnie The Pooh plushes.
She seems to have a favourite in Eeeyore but does quite like Winnie The Pooh still – I just seem to find her cuddling her Eeyore and playing with him a lot more.
This range has been made especially for little ones to snuggle and that Olivia does. It is floppy enough to withstand the brutality that a baby can put it through – shaking it around and crawling all over it – unlike other plushes which can be a bit more rigid. The colours are delicate in tone, akin to the Winnie The Pooh stories you see in the books, not as bright as other Winnie The Pooh memorabilia or products you can get – which can sometimes be too bright, in my opinion.
I find that plushes can make the perfect gift, no matter your age. I always gift new babies with an age appropriate plush and would certainly consider giving any new babies in my life one of these as the softness is incredible. I am also considering getting the Winnie The Pooh for my mum – she is a big Winnie The Pooh fan and can’t believe how soft it is!
Unlike other toys, soft toys are built to last, not only in physical form but in our memories. Yes, we may all have our favourite childhood board game or card game but if you ask someone about the toy they remember most or stands out the most, it will usually be a soft toy. They become lifelong friends and adults often keep them from their childhood – Steve is an example of this, still owning the teddy he was given at birth. His teddy is obviously starting to show wear and tear now – Steve is almost 31 after all – but it is still as cuddly as ever and these Snuggletime plush pals are of such amazing quality, I can see them also withstanding a long time period – they’re built to last, you can tell by their excellent quality.
On the 12th of February. thee will be a UKMums.tv Posh Paws Winnie the Pooh takeover going live where there will be FREE downloads and competitions too, there will also be a Twitter frenzy! Why not get involved?
These are so super soft and amazing quality, I think I may have to get the Tigger from the range too. Which Winnie The Pooh character is your favourite?
